Summer 2013

Here it is June and summer is officially here.  Having fun in the sun and surf is what it is all about.  BUT
Many of us leave for the summer, as I do.  I start to wonder what everyone is up to. Maybe taking a class they can share with everyone in the fall?  Creating a new design?  Collecting rocks or shells, reading, exploring the web for a new beading, stringing fused glass or silver idea….Whatever it is I already miss everyone.B
The Lapidary Club is open over the summer at the LAKES stop by see what going on or call Judi our club president @623-566 5327 if you have any questions or would like to join.  Dues $20.00 per year

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013

Everyone in the Westbrook Lapidary Club wishes our neighbors and friends in Westbrook Village a very Happy New Year.

We would like to invite you to our first meeting on Wednesday, January 9th at 10:00 AM in the lapidary room at the Lakes.

Lapidary, the art of creating jewelry from precious and semiprecious stones. We also design and fashion jewelry from Sterling Silver and silver plate. You can also learn to bead or string jewelry or how about metal stamping. Also, glass fusing is interesting way to use glass and create your own design.

We are a group of very energetic men and woman. We learn from each other and take classes. The jewelry that you create is so beautiful. But. We also make mistakes. Which we laugh at and go on “life is a learning experience”. Our club is a place and time to share and meet people just like you that enjoy “BLING. B
